Concrete Work

Concrete built from the ground up

The concrete you see is only as good as the base you never do. We prep and drain the ground, pour, finish, and cure it right, with one crew start to finish.

Scope and materials

Built around the way you use it.

From broad flat surfaces to shaped structural work, the approach starts with the ground underneath and the water that moves across it.

Everyday surfaces

Driveways & Walkways

Poured surfaces built to take vehicle and foot traffic, shaped to connect the entrance, the yard, and everything in between.

  • Compacted, drained base
  • Even, hard-wearing surface
  • Clean edges and joints

Outdoor living

Patios & Steps

Patios and steps formed to the grade of the yard, giving you a solid, level surface and comfortable transitions between levels.

  • Formed to the grade
  • Comfortable, even risers
  • Finish to suit the space

Structural work

Retaining Walls & Formed Pours

Formed concrete that holds grade, shapes a boundary, or supports a specific part of the exterior layout.

  • Formed and reinforced
  • Holds grade and load
  • Cured under control
From first look to final detail

A process you can follow.

Three steps, one crew, working from the ground up through to a finished, properly cured surface.

  1. 01

    Prep the base

We grade and compact the ground and sort out drainage before a single form goes in, because everything above depends on what sits below.

  2. 02

    Form and pour

Forms set the shape and the elevation, then the concrete goes in and gets worked to the surface you asked for.

  3. 03

    Finish and cure

The surface gets its finish, then it's cured properly so it reaches full strength instead of curing too fast and cracking.

Details that matter

What good work looks like.

Concrete lives or dies on the work around the pour itself. The base, the drainage, and the cure are where a driveway earns its years.

01

A base that holds

A graded, compacted base supports the slab evenly, which is what keeps it from settling and cracking a couple of winters in.

02

Water sent the right way

The grade and slope are planned so water runs off the surface and away from the house, not toward the foundation or under the slab.

03

The finish you chose

Broom, smooth, or a decorative finish, worked into the surface while the concrete is right for it, so it looks the way you pictured.

04

Cured, not rushed

Controlled curing lets the concrete reach full strength steadily. Skipping it is how a fresh pour ends up with surface cracks.

Questions before the first conversation

The practical details, up front.

What concrete work do you do?

Driveways, patios, walkways, steps, and retaining walls, plus the flatwork and formed pours that go with a full exterior. We handle the base prep and drainage as part of the job.

Why does the base matter so much?

A compacted, well-drained base is what keeps concrete from settling unevenly and cracking. Most concrete that fails early fails from the ground up, not the surface down, so we spend the time there.

How is drainage handled?

We plan the grade and the surface slope so water runs off the concrete and away from the house and foundation rather than pooling or working underneath.

How long before I can use it?

Foot traffic is usually fine within a day or two, and light vehicle use after about a week. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after the pour, and cold or wet GTA weather can stretch that timeline.

The quote we got didn't change at all, even after they pulled the old ledger board and found rot underneath. And it was the same foreman the whole way through, from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup.

Rob and Tamara C.

We needed a fence up fast before our dog found another way out. The crew had it done in three days and the gate still swings straight, so we haven't had to call them back for anything.

Joey S.

They replaced our cracked driveway here in Vaughan. They sorted out the permit themselves, and even with a few rain delays they still poured when they said they would. The cleanup afterward was better than we expected too.
